Q. What is the curriculum?
A. DDS uses Creative Curriculum. The philosophy behind the Creative Curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. The most important goal of the curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. This unique system allows teachers to build an electronic portfolio for each child that includes observation notes and assessment data. Each classroom has a computer to communicate via email and share this valuable information with parents.
